Are the measurements displayed on the scale or only on the app?

Is the heart rate scale actually measuring BMI or does the scale just use a formula?
Using the BIA technology the scale sends a minute electric current through the body to measure body fat, muscle mass, bone density and water weight.
Is it possible to set the scale to measure in KG instead of LBS?
Yes! The heart rate scale may be adjusted to provide measurements in pounds, kilograms and stone, in 0.1 increments.
Will the heart rate scale sync to a fitness app on my phone?
The heart rate scale will sync to the Vive Precision app for easily tracking your progress.
How can I make sure my Vive Precision heart rate scale is accurate?
First, be sure to use the scale on a hard, flat surface. Carpeted or soft flooring will produce inaccurate results. If the heart rate scale must be moved from location to location, recalibrate the scale by stepping on and then back off, allowing the scale to turn off before stepping on the second time.

The heart rate scale uses advanced technology, in addition to the user’s height and age to more accurately calculate body fat, water weight and bone density.
Can I use this heart rate scale if I have a pacemaker?
The Vive Precision heart rate scale should not be used if you have an implanted medical device such as a pacemaker, metal plates, screws or a contraceptive appliance. It is also not suitable for pregnant women or small children.
